About This Book
Forrest Carter's classic Western of a Missouri farmer turned Confederate guerrilla who refuses to surrender and rides for Texas with Union troops on his trail. This is the Futura (London) 1976 paperback, published as The Outlaw Josey Wales (formerly Gone to Texas) with the Clint Eastwood film tie-in cover. Mass market paperback; the cover shows creasing and edge wear consistent with age, and the text is clean and complete. A good reading copy of the novel behind one of Eastwood's best-loved films.
